The German Society for Applied Optics (DGaO) aims to bring together representatives of applied optics from science and industry and to promote exchange. The summer school offers young and prospective scientists and engineers in the field of optics an ideal opportunity for exchange, networking and professional training.
From August 2nd until August 6th, 2021, lectures, company tours and workshops with a wide range of topics from applied optics, micro- and nano-optics and quantum optics will take place at the University of Stuttgart.
Joint leisure events offer the opportunity for discussion and exchange of experiences, short presentations by the participants on their respective areas of activity are expressly desired.
In case special events will not be allowed at the University of Stuttgart until the beginning of August, the Summer School will take place as a digital event.
