Another successful summer school has been planned, organized and carried out by the PhD students and the coordinator of GRK2642. This year, it took place in Ulm with its proximity to several companies and institutes of interest.
The PhD students gave presentations to update about their research status and to discuss it. Part of the program were also talks by the GRK PIs and an external speaker, Dr. Roman Körner, CTO of TRUMPF Photonic Components.
Two excursions to the Institute for Laser Technologies in Medicine and Metrology and to the Institute for Quantum Optics completed the summer school program.
